I want to propose a challenge to those at HBF Pendleton...and that is a renewed devotion to family worship.
Family worship consists of reading God's Word, explaining and applying God's Word, praying, and singing. It can be a short as 3-5 minutes or as long as you desire. It might be beneficial to add in catechism questions or short videos to press these truths in the minds and hearts of our children (and spouses). Make it enjoyable for your family, but also a time that is set aside specifically to worship our Triune God!
Maybe you have failed in this area and need to get started. Why not start now? What better time to start than today (since you can't turn back time).
The challenge for you, brethren, is to worship with those in your household 5x this week. Given the difficulty of corporate worship over the last several weeks, there needs to be a renewed love and devotion of fathers (primarily) to be family shepherds. By God's grace this will only supplement our worship as a larger corporate body.
